6. Hangman’s Chokehold

The least dangerous move on this list where the wrestler wraps their arm around the opponents neck performing a sleeper hold, then climbs to the second rope and hangs the opponent by the neck. This move is illegal due to usage of the ring ropes, and results in a disqualification for the wrestler should they not release the hold before a count of five.

Trish Stratus has performed this move on WWE television previously but it was arguably banned after the infamous double murder\suicide of Chris Benoit, and was deemed to be in poor taste.

5. Chair Shots to the Head

WWE’s Attitude Era is famous for the over the top action filled with hardcore matches. However, all the hardcore and intense battles took a great toll on wrestlers’ bodies. Chair Shots are still used today, but are executed much differently when compared to the previous era.

The steel rambling onto a wrestler’s head will undoubtedly have serious complications. It was in everyone’s best interest to ban the move from WWE programming and restrict chair shots only to the backs of wrestlers and occasionally the abdomen.
