Best WWE Wrestlers of 2017 (Non-NXT)

8. The Bar

WWE

A seemingly out-of-nowhere pairing from an unresolved best-of-7 series turned out to be one of Mick Foley’s best legacies during his time as RAW General Manager. It was a duo we never knew we wanted – two manly men who slam a lot, but are willing to fly once in a while. Churning out good matches left and right, they contributed to the resurrection of the main roster’s tag team division in 2017.

Recommended matches: The Bar vs Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (No Mercy), Sheamus and Cesaro vs The Usos (Survivor Series), The Bar and The Miz vs The Shield (RAW November 13th).

7. Charlotte Flair

WWE

Her flawless moonsaults alone would have earned her this position. Alright, that was a bit of an overstatement, but those moonsaults were a thing of beauty, especially the corkscrew variation pulled off at Wrestlemania. The moonsault was the highlight of a move set balanced between grace and impact. And whether she was a heel or a face, she always knew how to prove that she was the superior in-ring performer, one class above the rest.

Recommended matches: Charlotte Flair vs Bayley (RAW February 13th), Charlotte Flair vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax (WrestleMania), Charlotte Flair vs Alexa Bliss (Survivor Series).
