4. The Miz
Similar to Alexa Bliss, The Miz does not have the best moves of all the entries in the list. To be honest with you, besides the Inverted Facelock Backbreaker and the surprising factor in his Stone Crushing Finale, his skills are just slightly above average, even when using some of Daniel Bryan’s moves as his own. But also, similar to Alexa Bliss, what he brought to the table was the amazing storytelling through each and every match. In 2017, Miz further perfected his portrayal as a cowardly heel who always looked for ways to cut corners and usually never won a match on his own. He has slowly turned into a heel version of Eddie Guerrero – lies, cheats, and steals to victory, yet is still beloved by the fans.

3. Braun Strowman
2017 was The Wyatt Family’s former Black Sheep’s star-making year, thrusting him into main event territory. He ran rampage through everyone on the roster, even making the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar look like his little b*tch. The “Braun Strowman destroys big things” became a regular trope, especially after Strowman’s ambulance-flipping assault on Roman Reigns. 2017 sure looked great for the Monster Among Men (from both character and in-ring perspectives), but we can guarantee you, it will not be his best ever.
