The final WWE pay-per-view of 2018, WWE TLC, will be live on Sunday night from the SAP Center at San Jose, San Jose, California, United States. Though this is not one of the Big 4 PPVs, it will give you some pointers as to where the company is taking you and what can be expected in 2019.
With Vince McMahon already set to make an appearance on Raw after TLC and “shake things up”, below are a few things that could get a new direction at this Sunday’s pay-per-view.
The Monster Among Men was written off WWE TV when he was injured (storyline) in a 3-on-1 attack by Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley last month. Strowman was already suffering from an elbow injury and this gave him time for a surgery.
Strowman is set to face Baron Corbin in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. If Corbin wins, he will become the permanent General Manager of Monday Night Raw and if Strowman wins, he will get a shot at the Universal Championship title at Royal Rumble.
The situation here is very uncertain because it is not yet known whether Strowman has recovered completely from the surgery and if he is medically cleared to wrestle. A forfeit will hand the victory to Corbin.
Raw viewership has been on an all time low and Corbin’s storyline is being blamed as one of the reasons. With Kurt Angle also returning to Raw this Monday, it would be interesting to see the outcome of this match.
