WWE’s last PPV took place a week ago, but the company’s forced Saudi Arabia schedule means we get yet another PPV this week. The Road to Wrestlemania is in full flow and the final PPV before the event will be the iconic Elimination Chamber.



As of writing, the PPV is scheduled to have a total of zero World title matches, due to both the champions being picky workers. The mid-card, tag-team and Women’s titles will be in focus on the show, which also features two stacked Chamber matches.



The show which takes place this Sunday will have a lot on its plate, and hopefully, WWE can keep up the intrigue leading to WrestleMania.



We run down the WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 match card, and give our thoughts and predictions on the PPV.

<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">Elimination Chamber Match: Natalya vs. Liv Morgan vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka vs. Ruby Riott vs. Sarah Logan</h2>

The first match to be announced for the PPV features the whole RAW Women’s Division, with the addition of the newly promoted Shayna Baszler, competing in the hellacious structure to determine the No.1 contender for Becky Lynch’s RAW title, which she has held for close to a year now.



Shayna Baszler made her debut a month ago, and immediately set the stage on fire, by biting off a chunk of Lynch’s neck. The WrestleMania matchup should have been a foregone conclusion post that, but WWE decided to keep a separate match to determine Lynch’s challenger.



The match also features other rivalries, with the former Riott Squad members involved in a battle of their own, while Natalya has her own issues with Asuka, which could be heading towards a Tag-Team match at WrestleMania.



Baszler should easily win this matchup and get her WrestleMania date with the Man unless WWE decides to give a surprising twist.



Prediction: Shayna Baszler wins



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">Intercontinental Championship | 3-on-1 Handicap Match: Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro and Sami Zayn</h2>

The yet-to-be-named faction of hard hitters in Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro have been at Braun Strowman’s throats for months now, and it will finally culminate in Strowman taking on all the three superstars at the same time inside the Squared Circle.



Strowman won his first-ever singles title last month by defeating Nakamura on SmackDown, but the story didn’t stop there. Zayn, who has stayed out of action for several months now, delivered a Helluva Kick to the Monster Among Men last week, which could be an indication of a full-time return for the former NXT Champion.



It is hard to determine the result of this matchup, but WWE would be wise to keep the title on Strowman for now.



Prediction: Braun Strowman wins



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">Elimination Chamber Match | SmackDown Tag Team Championships: John Morrison and The Miz (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Usos vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Lucha House Party vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode</h2>

The second Chamber match on the card came as a surprise, as many believed the second match to be either for the SmackDown Women’s Championship or to determine the No.1 contender for the Universal title.



The complete SmackDown Tag Team division sans the Revival, who are rumored to be on their way out, will compete in this exciting match. Morrison and Miz, who won the titles in Saudi Arabia last week, immediately lost against The Usos next night on SmackDown, which could be an indication that the titles won’t stay on the narcissistic duo for long.



Heavy Machinery and Ziggler-Roode have a B-story of their own, with Ziggler stealing Otis’ chance of a date with Mandy Rose.



Prediction: Miz and Morrison retain



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">Raw Tag Team Championships: The Street Profits (c) vs. Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy</h2>

The Monday Night Messiah, Rollins, has assembled a deadly team and has been running wild on the red brand, but the Street Profits, Viking Raiders, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, have all teamed up to tackle the wrath of the faction.



Rollins is rumored to take on Owens at WrestleMania in a singles encounter, which means he will stay off the tag-team picture for now. Having the titles on the shoulder on a proper tag-team is also good news for the tag-team division.



Prediction: The Street Profits retain



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">United States Championship: Andrade (c) vs. Humberto Carillo</h2>

Andrade returns from his 30-day suspension, and in storyline, his absence was due to a brutal attack by Carillo on the RAW after the Rumble. Carillo, who has been chasing the title ever since his debut, will get yet another opportunity against his fellow Latin superstar.



Carillo pinned Andrade in a tag-team match this week, also involving Rey Mysterio and Angel Garza, which led to this opportunity for the former 205 Live star.



Andrade is projected to be the next big thing in WWE, while Carillo still lacks the charisma to be a titleholder on the main-roster, which should result in the former NXT Champion retaining the title.



Prediction: Andrade retains



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">No Disqualification Match: Aleister Black vs. AJ Styles</h2>

Aleister Black was handed his first-ever pinfall loss on the main-roster, courtesy of AJ Styles on RAW this week. Black, who fought off Anderson and Gallows in singles matches, took on Styles but couldn’t overcome the Phenomenal One, who mocked the Undertaker en route to victory.



Styles is most certainly facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania and will warm up for that bout with a match against a similar satanic character in Black.



With No DQ rules attached to this bout, there are great chances of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Undertaker" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Undertaker (opens in a new tab)">Undertaker </a>making an appearance to teach Styles a lesson for the blatant disrespect shown by the former WWE Champion on <a href="https://api.wrestlingworld.co/results/wwe-raw-results-and-takeaways-mar-2-mcintyre-claymore-lesnar-orton-rko-beth-phoenix/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="RAW this week (opens in a new tab)">RAW this week</a>.



Black should benefit from the Undertaker’s appearance and chalk up a victory for himself.



Prediction: Aleister Black wins



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading">Drew Gulak vs. Daniel Bryan </h2>

After weeks of studying Daniel Bryan, former Cruiserweight Champion will finally get an opportunity to wrestle Bryan inside the Squared Circle. Gulak claims to know 163 of Bryan&#8217;s weaknesses, which will surely help him to battle the former WWE Champion.



Daniel Bryan was an integral part of the blue brand ever since his return to in-ring competition in 2018, and now has graciously accepted a role in the mid-card, helping wrestlers like Gulak to get some well-deserved screen time.



Gulak is a tremendous athlete with his mat-based wrestling skills, which will be a good foil for Bryan&#8217;s well-oiled wrestling machine. Bryan and Gulak could end up being the sleeper hit of the PPV. Gulak winning will be a tremendous move and could help him elevate himself on the roster, but it is hard to imagine WWE putting over him over a multi-time World Champion.



Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins
