“A Retired Guy Trying to Sound Gangster” – Roman Reigns on Undertaker’s “Soft” Comments

Current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated about recent comments coming from WWE legend the Undertaker about the current product being “soft”.

Undertaker made his comments during an appearance on the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience”. Another WWE legend, Goldberg followed up on Taker’s comments during an appearance on Corey Grave’s podcast “After the Bell”.

Goldberg basically agreed with Taker, adding that people in the current locker room needed to “get thicker skin.”

According to Reigns, he believes that Taker “misspoke” while kind of dismissing what Goldberg might have to say.

“I really feel like he misspoke,” he said about the Undertaker. “Because Mark is a really good guy. He’s very knowledgeable. Obviously, he has a ton of respect for the business.”

“Goldberg is just Goldberg. Who cares?” he added.

Reigns is considered a locker room leader and he gave his two cents on people in the locker room “playing video games.” According to him, while he himself didn’t play video games “at work” he didn’t think it was a bad thing.

“I’d rather my guys be playing video games than breaking into a bag of some sort,” he said.

He ended his comments by saying that Undertaker on Rogan basically just sounded like “a retired guy trying to sound gangster.”
