Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish have made quite the impact in NXT over the past year and despite Fish’s injury, the company has aligned Roderick Strong with the group in order for them to remain a trio.
Cole recently appeared on the NotSam Podcast where he opened up about being able to work alongside Fish and O’Reilly in WWE and how he didn’t expect WWE to allow the three men to work together as a unit.
“I definitely didn’t expect at all that we were going to get thrown together in a group. I mean as it was happening it was like, ‘oh cool we’re going to end up being in the same place,” he said via Ringsidenews.
“But the last thing I expected was Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong are going to be kind of running shop around here. It’s crazy.”
Undisputed Era’s impact on the developmental brand has stood out so much, that the trio actually made it onto WWE’s official list of top ten stables in the company this past week.
The NXT Tag Team Champions were placed at number 10 on the list and Cole stated that he sees this as motivation to improve.
“I’m really confident in what this group is and where we believe we’re going so to me it’s only a matter of time before we get higher and higher on that list. To see it was awesome, it was very cool. But if anything it was kind of motivating to move up that list.”
War Games is on the horizon and following their win inside the structure last year, The Undisputed Era are expected to be the ones stepping back inside to attempt to continue their winning streak this year.
