Hangman Adam Page was a recent guest on Jim Ross’s podcast where he talked about his career so far and his hopes for his career in AEW.
Page talked about his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he said that it’s almost impossible for a young performer not to improve and become better at the craft.
“Every step you take [in NJPW], you’re surrounded by people who are better than you to some extent, so, I mean, you naturally get a little better, I think,” said Page.
Before signing with AEW, he was a member of both the Bullet Club and admits that at times he felt overshadowed, but he is now determined to shine and aims to be AEW’s top guy.
“I’m early in my career. I’m 27 [years old]. I think more than anyone else in the group, I’m the most focused on my in-ring career at this point because I have a long way to go. So throw me in the water. Sink or swim, we’ll see what the hell happens,” says Page.
