All Elite Wrestling’s final PPV before the much-anticipated TV debut is scheduled to take place this Saturday, and AEW is keeping the hype around the show alive by periodic segments and updates.
The card for the PPV took a massive hit when Jon Moxley f.k.a Dean Ambrose was forced to withdraw his name from the event due to an injury. This left AEW with no option but to recall PAC to replace Moxley in the match against Kenny Omega.
With just a mere four days to go for the PPV, AEW announced one more match, which could end up being the final addition to the card. SCU (Christopher Daniel, Frankie Kazarin and Scorpio Sky) will face the team of Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt. Both the teams have competed at previous AEW PPVs, and will once feature in AEW’s latest offering.
The rivalry between these two groups was teased several times in Being the Elite series, which saw Christopher Daniels being haunted by dinosaurs, a reference to Luchasaurus’ gimmick.
Luchasauraus and Jungle Boy immediately became fan-favorites after their performances at the previous PPVs and thus, it was only a matter of time before they made it to the card at All Out. The majority of the AEW roster is now scheduled to participate at All Out, which will now feature a total of ten matches.
Also announced on the Being the Elite episode was the location of AEW’s sixth television taping, which will take place in North Carolina.
The announcement took place on BTE, with Tony Schivanone making the announcement. AEW also announced that they have signed Schivanoe on a multi-year deal, which will see him commentate alongside Jim Ross and Excalibur on AEW programming.
AEW is going all guns blazing for the PPV, and it remains to be seen how it pans out.
