AEW All Out: Jon Moxley Retains AEW World Championship After a Mistake From MJF and Wardlow

Jon Moxley has had a lengthy reign as AEW World Champion over the few months but MJF has easily pushed the star much further than any other challenger.

There was a real belief that MJF could be the man to dethrone the man formerly known as Dean Ambrose tonight at All Out, but this dream came to a crashing halt when Friedman failed to catch the ring that Wardlow had thrown in to help him cheat.

Wardlow wanted to help MJF to become World Champion and threw in the Dynamite Diamond so that The Salt of The Earth could use it to hit Moxley and cheat to become Champion, but when he failed to catch it, Moxley took advantage of the distraction, hit the Paradigm Shift and retained his Championship.

It was one of the most brutal matches of the night with MJF being busted open at one point, but it proved just how much the company means to these two men, who left it all there in the ring.

Lance Archer was also watching the match from afar and seemed impressed with what he saw since he will now be Moxley’s next challenger following his Casino Battle Royale win earlier tonight.
