Both AEW and WWE have announced that they are premiering new, video game related content this week.
AEW Games is going to debut a video game-centric program called “2.Show” on their YouTube channel on Wednesday (December 30). The show will be hosted by the current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and will be available after the end of this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The announcement was made with a short teaser trailer, with AEW star Kip Sabian opening a series of empty Christmas presents. Title cards assure fans that if they didn’t get what they wanted during the holidays; AEW Games has a present for them which is the “2.Show”.
Aside from Omega hosting the show, nothing more has really been revealed about “2.Show”.
Meanwhile, WWE also announced that they are launching their “Superstar Gaming Series” this Tuesday (December 29).
“Superstar Gaming Series” will be aired on the WWE Network and the company’s social media accounts. It will be hosted by Kinda Funny Games’ Greg Miller and WWE Superstar Xavier Woods.
WWE announced that the first episode will feature WWE superstars Ronda Rousey, The Miz, Liv Morgan, Adam Cole, Tyler Breeze, Shayna Baszler, and Jessamyn Duke playing “Among Us” and “WWE 2K Battlegrounds.”
