In order to still produce content but not run afoul of quarantine and travel restrictions put in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic, AEW has been taping matches and segments way ahead of their air dates.
The company has reportedly filmed enough footage to last them till about mid-May.
The latest round of taping were done at QT Marshall’s gym, located in Norcross, Georgia and, according to the Wrestler Observer Radio, this is the last they will do for now. The tapings in Norcross were concluded on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the company is still uncertain as to the status of their Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. This is scheduled to happen on May 23, but with the ongoing pandemic, it is still unclear if they will indeed be able to push through with the show.
Meanwhile, AEW’s Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford have gotten engaged.
Ford announced the engagement on Instagram, posting a video of Sabian getting down on one knee and popping the question on Saturday (April 4).
Ford said that she was thrilled to be getting married to her “best friend.” Best of all, she wrote, they had their puppy Oscar with them during the engagement.
Sabian also posted on Instagram elaborating on the proposal. According to him, he had planned the engagement for that day and, to get it done, he “tricked” Ford into thinking they were merely posing for a photo he wanted to send to his parents. He planned to ask her at their favorite place and with Oscar in the picture.
