AEW Dynamite Preview, September 2: Jon Moxley vs MJF’s Lawyer, 8-Man Tag Team Action

Jon Moxley Takes on Mark Sterling

At All Out pay-per-view, Jon Moxley will put the AEW World Championship on the line against MJF in a match that would bar him from using the devastating Paradigm Shift DDT.

The Death Rider isn’t concerned though; he claims that the stipulation will allow him to be more creative and figure out a thousand other ways to rip Maxwell’s body apart.

However, ahead of the title clash on Saturday, Moxley will take on MJF’s lawyer, Mark Sterling, who has played a crucial role in banning The Death Rider’s deadly finisher from All Out.

The only ‘problem’ is that Jon is fully eligible to allow his complete skill set in tonight’s match, meaning Mr. Sterling may not be the same man again when the AEW World Champion plants him with a vicious Paradigm Shift DDT. Can Sterling escape fatality on Dynamite?

Chris Jericho Collides With Joey Janela

Chris Jericho will go-head-to-head with Orange Cassidy in three days’ time at All Out. Le Champion boasts of two major victories over Freshly Squeezed which makes him all the more confident heading into the September 5th pay-per-view.

As for tonight, Jericho must overcome Joey Janela’s challenge. The Bad Boy has a disappointing 2-5 singles record and must score the spotlight victory over The DemoGod if he wishes to insert himself in the world title picture.

Can Janela soften Jericho up for Orange? Or will it be the former AEW World Champion who walks out victorious tonight?

Santana & Ortiz Battle Best Friends

The third-ranked duo of Best Friends will battle Santana & Ortiz in an exciting tag team contest this Wednesday night. All four men share a bitter history under the AEW roof, and tonight’s bout will earn the victor a significant upperhand over the losers.

8-Man Tag: The Young Bucks & Jurassic Express vs. SoCal Uncensored & Private Party

Just days ahead of All Out, The Young Bucks will join forces with Jurassic Express against the unique quartet of SoCal Uncensored and Private Party in a highly-combustible 8-Man Tag team showdown. Which side will stand tall tonight?
