Sting spoke for the first time on AEW Dynamite this week, after making his huge debut at Winter is Coming special episode last week. Sting featured in a segment with Cody Rhodes, Arn Anderson, and Tony Schiavone, stating his intentions for signing with AEW.
Sting and Schiavone had a friendly moment, reminiscing their WCW days before Sting and Cody spoke 1-on-1.
Sting pointed to Darby Allin, who was sitting in the stands, and said that he has his eyes set on the TNT Champion for the time being.
Cody didn’t look too impressed with Sting, which could signify a feud between the two stars down the line. Sting last wrestled a match in 2015 against Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions, but a serious injury forced him to retire.
It is unclear if Sting will be donning his in-ring gear at the age of 61, but he is listed as an active performer on the AEW roster.
