Moxley and Kingston are “old friends” and the build-up to this title match was extremely personal, cumulating on both men agreeing to the stipulation that it wouldn’t end till one of them said “I quit.”

The “I Quit” championship match at Full Gear was a brutal slugfest that ended up with the two men fighting almost all over the arena while utilizing a variety of weapons.

Moxley was eventually able to get a Bulldog Choke, utilizing barbed wire, on Kingston in the middle of the ring to get him to say “I quit.”

Moxley tried to help Kingson up afterward but Kingston refused, walking away from the ring and his former friend who remains AEW World Champion.

After Kingston left the ring, Kenny Omega, who won the right to challenge for the AEW World Championship by beating Adam Page earlier in the night, walked out to stare at the champion.

No word yet on when Omega will be able to challenge for the championship but it certainly looks like both him and Moxley are game to face each other.
