Originally planned for Suncorp Stadium, AEW Grand Slam Australia has been moved to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, but it remains a major financial success.



During an interview with DownUnderTheRing, Tony Khan revealed that, outside of AEW All In London (2023 &amp; 2024), Grand Slam Australia is projected to be AEW’s biggest international gate ever.

&#8220;It&#8217;s going to be very exciting, it&#8217;s my first time doing a show here, but this is one of our biggest international events ever. It&#8217;s one of our biggest gates in the history of AEW, and we&#8217;re really excited for that. Outside of Wembley Stadium in London, this is going to be, I believe, our biggest international gate of all time. So it&#8217;s a really very, very exciting event for us here in AEW.&#8221;

While exact figures won’t be released until after the event, it is expected to surpass the $1 million USD mark, overtaking Forbidden Door 2023 in Toronto.



With AEW returning to London later this year for Forbidden Door 2025, Khan is looking to further expand AEW’s international reach and break new records.
