AEW boasts of a packed world-class talent meaning everyone must perform at their highest level to stay in the mix.
The company recently released three wrestlers, and as noted on the AEW website, the profiles of Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley have been removed from the roster page.
Sadie Gibbs is the third name on the list of released talents. The 28-year-old British wrestler confirmed her release on Twitter.
Gibbs last wrestled a match on AEW Dark last year. She hasn’t been around since then.
While the reason for each release is currently unknown, it appears that all three wrestlers might have been released due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Havoc’s name had come up during the #SpeakingOut movement. The promising star was accused of sexual abuse and sexual harassment and several allegations were made against him following which AEW had to suspend the British star.
Havoc was previously undergoing treatment and counseling but it seems that AEW has now given up on the 36-year-old performer.
Meanwhile, Priestley hasn’t been on Dynamite ever since the pandemic hit the United States. The 24-year-old British star wrestled her last match on March 11th.
