AEW Star Admits He Might Need Surgery, Chris Jericho Names Wrestlers On His Mount Rushmore

AEW’s MJF hasn’t been part of the recent Dynamite tapings and it looks like he was given time off to deal with injuries. His last in-ring appearance was back on the March 11 episode of Dynamite. He teamed with The Butcher and The Blade in a winning effort against the Jurassic Express.

Responding to a fan on Twitter who asked where he had been, MJF said that “something awful has happened to me and it has gradually gotten worse.” He declined to give details.

In another Tweet, he admitted that it looked like he was going to need surgery. He promised he would make a comeback but also said he would be taking a break from Twitter.

During his Saturday Night Special Live, Chris Jericho answered a fan’s question about who were the four wrestlers who he would put on his personal Mount Rushmore of wrestling.

According to Jericho, three of his picks would be wrestlers who were part of the WWE Hall of Fame: Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan. The third would be the Japanese wrestling great Ultimo Dragon.

“One of the greatest wrestlers I have ever seen in my life,” said Jericho about Ultimo Dragon. “One of the greatest performers I ever worked with.”
