AEW Star QT Marshall Replaced on Dynamite Due to COVID-19 Fears

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite should have seen The Natural Nightmares take on FTR in a tag team matchup. It was revealed on Twitter just a few hours ago by All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan that QT Marshall had been sent home due to COVID-19 fears.

Khan revealed publicly that QT Marshall had been in contact with a person who had tested positive for the virus in his personal life. There is a risk that QT could have picked up the virus himself which means that he will need to self isolate in the coming days and take a COVID-19 test.

Khan has explained the situation on his Twitter page and stated that doctors had told QT to remain at home and not travel to AEW’s current residence.

The update has since received positive reactions from the AEW fanbase since he has made it clear that AEW is doing everything they can to protect their talent.

Khan also announced that the tag team match on tonight’s show wouldn’t be scrapped, instead, on just six hours notice SCU would be stepping in to take on FTR.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite is looking stacked since the show will also include a Lumberjack match between Luchasaurus and Wardlow and Brodie Lee teaming with Colt Cabana to take on Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela.
