As we recently reported, AEW Executive Vice Presidents The Young Bucks admitted that the COVID-19 has <a href="https://api.wrestlingworld.co/news/young-bucks-talk-pandemic-and-dynamite-stadium-stampede-spot-that-almost-didnt-happen/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">affected several of their plans</a> for this year.



During <a href="https://411mania.com/wrestling/exclusive-young-bucks-reflect-aew-first-year-dealing-pandemic-performing-no-fans/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">an interview with 411 Mania</a>, the Bucks spoke more about one of these postponed plans, the &#8216;Blood and Guts&#8217; cage match.



The Blood and Guts match was to take place on a special episode of Dynamite back in March and was to feature the Young Bucks&#8217; faction The Elite and Matt Hardy take on Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle.



According to the Bucks, the match is still in the “back pocket” for when bigger crowds return.



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">“We spent a lot of money building that structure,” said Nick Jackson with a laugh. “But the good thing about it is that at least we now have it. So, we can pull the trigger on that at any time.”</blockquote>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">“I feel like we are saving that for the fans,” he added. “I think that is the biggest reason we haven’t done it, but that is the biggest thing that changed, not having that match.”</blockquote>



Currently, AEW has shows with limited live crowds in Daily’s Place. There are reportedly no plans to move the shows or increase the audience size just yet.
