All Elite Wrestling announced in a press release that Bash at the Beach will be returning in January 2020, with a nine-day unprecedented experience for fans. Jan 15-24 will be the duration for the whole event, which will feature two Dynamite shows.

AEW confirmed that the Jan 15 show from Miami will be a Bash at the Beach themed episode, reminiscent of the popular PPV from WCW. The show last aired in 2000, before WCW was bought out by WWE and the PPV was never used in WWE.

Bash at the Beach events featured a complete beach theme, filled with surfboards and sand. Jericho himself took part in the event during his time with WCW and will bring back the iconic event on his own cruise.

Jericho first hosted his cruise party known as, Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, in 2018, when he partnered with Ring of Honor to host an event on his boat.

A party-themed episode will surely excite a lot of fans, and even help to bring in the fans from WCW. Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle will surely break out a Lil’ bit of the Bubbly for the historic event.
