Chris Jericho is currently in the midst of the build-up to his main event match against Cody Rhodes at next weekend’s Full Gear event, where he will be forced to put his AEW World Championship on the line.

Jericho has famously taken a number of shots at WWE over the past few weeks, ever since AEW made the move to TNT and is now competing with NXT for the Wednesday night ratings.

Both Rhodes and Jericho have taken some interesting shots at the company ever since their departure, but it appears that the AEW World Champion has still tuned into WWE Crown Jewel.

Lacey Evans and Natalya made history by competing in the first-ever women’s match in the Middle Eastern country, a match that was won by Natalya via submission. The former Women’s Champion and her long-time rival were forced to wrestle in bodysuits and shirts in the country to fit in with their laws but were still able to put on a fantastic match.

Following her victory, Evans and Natalya embraced and both got quite emotional as they realized that their names will now forever be etched in the record books. It’s unknown as to whether or not Evans has now turned face, but what is known is that Jericho tuned into the match and felt the need to comment and congratulate the women on such a “monumental moment.”

Lacey Evans and Natalya weren’t the only women who were part of the show in Saudi Arabia, since Lana was able to walk onto the top of the ramp alongside Bobby Lashley in what was a small but interesting continuation of their current storyline with Rusev.

It appears that even though this was a controversial deal with the Saudi Arabian Authorities, the company has already started to push for change within the country.
