The Phenomenal One Attacks The Chairman

SmackDown Live on Christmas night ended in a surprising way following Rusev‘s WWE United States Championship victory. Backstage, AJ Styles ran into Vince McMahon who coaxed him to harness his inner animal.

Mr. McMahon declared that he wanted to see that animal and slapped Styles. The Phenomenal One suddenly delivered a ruthless forearm to the CEO’s head and floored him completely.

Loser Leaves Town Match On Monday Night RAW

As promised by The McMahon Family, the New Era will feature fresh matchups to offer fans an entirely new experience. With that in mind, it appears that WWE is heading towards a “Loser Leaves Town Match” on Monday Night RAW featuring Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that a
“Loser Leaves Town Match” could be around the corner if WWE continues to move in that direction.

“He called him pathetic and ‘There’s not enough room for both of us’ so are they gonna do a Loser Leaves Town Match? They’re in a cage match next week which is a taped RAW […] Ziggler gave him a Zig-Zag afterward, yes.”

Why Ronda Rousey Vs. Natalya On RAW Felt So Different

Ronda Rousey retained the RAW Women’s Championship against best friend Natalya on the Christmas Eve edition of Monday Night RAW. The match felt very different and had an old-school vibe throughout.

Dave Meltzer revealed the reason on Wrestling Observer Radio:

“You want to know a secret about that match? Did you know that match was called 100% in the ring? Yep.”

Drew McIntyre’s Push Stalled?

Drew McIntyre‘s big push is to continue as planned despite The Scottish Psychopath seemingly ‘slowing down’ in recent weeks with his latest pay-per-view loss to Finn Balor at TLC.

Dave Meltzer discussed the matter on Wrestling Observer Radio to reveal that McIntyre will be back on track in January.

“This month is for Finn, next month is for Drew. No months are for Ziggler, probably.”
