Aleister Black was recently drafted to Friday Night SmackDown as part of the 2020 WWE Draft. The Anti-Hero has a lot to prove and the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting to find out who the tattooed Superstar will be targeting next.
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Black revealed that his goal is to now feud with Roman Reigns on the blue brand.
The Dutch Superstar has already approached The Big Dog’s Advocate Paul Heyman for that purpose and is eagerly waiting for those plans to materialize.
“I’d love to be entangled with Roman and Paul, and I’ve spoken with Paul about this before. There are a lot of things that move the different pieces on that chessboard, getting me to checkmates, and that’s one of them.”
“There’s not one singular person other than perhaps maybe a Roman Reigns, where I would like specifically target myself, other than everyone being a target.”
Reigns is currently engaged in a feud with his cousin Jey Uso. The Bloodline will collide in a brutal “I Quit” Match at Hell In A Cell to seemingly draw an end to their program.
“For Roman, I feel like this is the best work he’s ever done. Roman is in that super rare spot where he is so comfortable in the role that his confidence is Level 1000. Everything is presented in a way that is super organic, it makes you think he’s not even playing a character. To be honest, I don’t think he is playing a character. I think this is playing to every strength of Roman Reigns, of which there are a lot.”
Black was on Heyman’s radar when the latter held the Executive Directorial role on RAW. Now that both men are on the same brand once again, it’s only a matter of time before the Advocate pits The Anti-Hero against The Tribal Chief.
