Alexa Bliss has been one of the most improved WWE superstars over the past few years, having gone from a valet in NXT to a multi-time Women’s Champion on the main roster. The Goddess had the impressive statistic where she was part of every Women’s Championship match on her respective brand for almost two years until this year’s Evolution.
Bliss hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV now since Hell in a Cell, where she was reportedly injured in her match against Ronda Rousey. This put her match with Trish Stratus at Evolution up in the air, but she was later cleared to wrestle and the match was turned into a tag team including Mickie James and Lita instead.
Just days before Evolution, Bliss was injured as part of a live event when she was competing in a tag team match against Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey, but this time she wasn’t cleared in time to be part of Evolution, so she was replaced by Alicia Fox.
Most recently, Bliss has been given the position as captain of the women’s Survivor Series team which has left many fans wondering if much like Paige, this could be a way to allow Bliss to push on into a less physical role in the company so that she can step away from the ring.
These retirement rumors have sparked Bliss to respond on Social Media, where she pointed out that she’s “not going anywhere.”

As the captain of the Raw Women’s Team at Survivor Series, Bliss will continue to be present on WWE TV but she won’t be part of the action physically until WWE is able to clear her for competition.
