Alexa Bliss hasn’t wrestled a match on WWE TV since Hell in a Cell when she lost to Ronda Rousey, as she battled to reclaim her Raw Women’s Championship. Bliss was then struck down with an arm injury a few days later which forced her out of the Mixed Match Challenge and onto the sidelines for the past few weeks.
Bliss was finally cleared to return to the ring last week and has continued to build up her match with Trish Stratus and Lita but she was once again injured by Ronda Rousey at a recent WWE Live event, which is why she missed this week’s episode of Raw.
Bliss was replaced by Alicia Fox in a backstage segment with Stratus and Lita but according to her teammate Mickie James, Bliss will still be part of the match on Sunday night.

James told Busted Open radio that Bliss will be part of the match despite the fact that she suffered a concussion last weekend.
It has been a rough few weeks for Bliss but the fact that she is part of a Tag Team match means that she can be somewhat protected throughout. Bliss doesn’t have to do a lot in the match and can instead spend most of her time on the apron whilst allowing Mickie James to take all of the heat.
The former Women’s Champion has obviously been cleared to return to the ring otherwise WWE wouldn’t have allowed her to compete as part of the match, but right now the company has enough injury concerns so Bliss’ match could be one that WWE is allowing to go ahead because there is no backup plan.
