Alexa Bliss was unsuccessful in her attempt to win back the RAW Women’s Championship from Ronda Rousey at Hell in a Cell when she tapped to the armbar, but it appears that there could have been lasting damage for The Goddess since WWE have recently announced that Bliss has been forced to pull out of the Mixed Match Challenge due to injury.
Bliss was set to team with her season one partner Braun Strowman as Team Little Big united in the first match of the second season of the competition tonight, but Bliss is unable to be cleared so she has been replaced by Ember Moon.

WWE went on to release a statement in regards to the injury which apparently occurred this morning, even though it’s likely to have stemmed from the match on Sunday night.
“Despite appearing on Monday Night RAW last night, Alexa Bliss woke up this morning and sought medical attention complaining about numbness in her left arm. Now as a reminder, Alexa had a match against the RAW Women’s champion Ronda Rousey this past Sunday night at WWE Hell in a Cell where Alexa tapped to the champion’s armbar. We can officially announce at this time that Alexa Bliss has not been medically cleared to compete at the WWE live events this weekend or in tonight’s WWE Mixed Match Challenge.”
Bliss’ injury isn’t expected to be a problem for her heading into her match with Trish Stratus at Evolution in less than six weeks time, but it appears that the company will be keeping a close eye on her moving forward since she is considered to be a hot commodity in the RAW women’s locker room.
