Alexa Bliss Reportedly Won’t Be Wrestling For A While

Alexa Bliss hasn’t had a great few months, ever since Hell in a Cell the former Women’s Champion has been on and off the injured list and her current position makes it seem as though she won’t be used in a physical role in the near future.

Bliss was prepared to face Trish Stratus and Lita alongside Mickie James back at Evolution, but this obviously didn’t happen since she was replaced by Alicia Fox at the last minute, but was still at ringside for the match so that she could support her team.

Bliss was reported to have been injured at a live event by Ronda Rousey a few days before, which was why WWE couldn’t risk allowing her to wrestle at the first ever all-women’s pay-per-view.

Bliss hasn’t wrestled since and this week on Raw, Baron Corbin revealed that she was the captain of the women’s team at Survivor Series, which makes it even more likely that she won’t be used in a wrestling capacity on Raw anytime in the near future.

Joe Peisich recently commented on Alexa Bliss’ status on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred where he confirmed that he didn’t think Bliss would be wrestling for a while.

“Alexa Bliss, you know she’s back, she’s injured, she’s back, she’s injured, she’s back. She’s only captaining the Raw side for the ladies is because she is still undergoing some sort of evaluation — concussions and all that. So Alexa Bliss don’t expect her to be back for a little bit,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Bliss has the personality to be able to be a huge part of this match without wrestling, but it doesn’t bode well for her that the company aren’t prepared to risk allowing her to wrestle in a 10-woman elimination match at the event.
