Alexa Bliss only recently returned to WWE after she suffered an arm injury in her match against Ronda Rousey at a recent WWE Live Event, but reports coming out of this weekend’s live events state that the former UFC Champion could have been the reason for Bliss’ most recent injury as well.

Whilst it’s unclear as to whether or not Bliss suffered a broken nose or a concussion, she was missing from Raw last night and was instead replaced by Alicia Fox in a backstage segment with Mickie James, Trish Stratus and Lita and could be a doubt for Sunday night’s Evolution pay-per-view.

Bliss hasn’t been able to wrestle for the past month and now there are a number of question marks over whether she will be part of Evolution but working a much lighter match, or replaced by Alicia Fox.

Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on the most recent episode of The Wrestling Observer, where he confirmed that a switch could be happening if Bliss isn’t declared fit in time.

“Alexa Bliss, I believe she suffered a concussion on Saturday night at Hartford. She was not on the TV tonight. She was still advertised for Sunday for the women’s Evolution show and they were hoping she would be ready but a concussion is a concussion. There’s no way of predicting when she’ll be passing Impact testing.”

“So if you watched television I think it’s pretty clear that Alicia Fox will be replacing her if she can’t go. But they’re still advertising her,” he said via Ringsidenews.
