Alexa Bliss hasn’t stepped into a WWE ring since Hell in a Cell when she suffered an arm injury in her Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey.
Bliss was later cleared to make her return ahead of Evolution, but was unable to be part of the tag team match against Lita and Trish Stratus because she suffered a concussion at a live event in a match that also included Rousey and Nia Jax.
Over the past few months, Bliss has taken an authoritative role on Monday Night Raw and was given full control of the Women’s Division this past week by acting General Manager Baron Corbin, which has fueled speculation that The Goddess could be given the General Manager position following TLC if Corbin loses his match to Braun Strowman and Stephanie McMahon is forced to name a new authority figure.
Before she was sidelined, Bliss was one of the best female wrestlers in the company and is a former SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion, so many fans want her to be able to be cleared to make her return to the ring because she has a huge fanbase.
The Goddess has added some uncertainty to her future over the past few hours since she updated the following image on Instagram which shows that she has been able to get back into the ring at the Performance Center and could now be pushing towards a return.
The caption, which reads “Day 1” proves that Bliss is obviously pushing towards a return to the ring and today could be the first of many for the former Women’s Champion when it comes to fighting for an in-ring return.
