This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw at the Little Caesars Arena  in Detroit, MI kicked off with The Raw General Manager, Kurt Angle announcing to the WWE Universe that once again WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar would not make an appearance on the night’s show, despite Lesnar being advertised to finally show-up for a face-off with Roman Reigns.

Reigns came out, cut a promo reacting to the advertisement that Brock would once again not appear a scheduled, went as far as saying that Lesnar is McMahon’s “boy” and finally barged backstage to the Gorilla position where he confronted The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon who was accompanied by his son and SmackDown Live Commissioner, Shane McMahon. As Reigns got in Vince’s face, the Chairman opined to talk in his office and called for a commercial.

Reigns finally came out of the office with a rather disgruntled look on his face and left Renee Young ignored and her question unanswered. However, Vince stepped out and officially declared that Brock would appear on next week’s RAW and then ‘temporarily suspended’ Reigns for his behaviour.

According to PWInsider, earlier in the day reports claimed that neither Lesnar nor his advocate, Paul Heyman were present backstage at the taping. It looks like WWE is trying to put heat on Reigns and get the crowd behind him by posing Lesnar as the anti-WWE heel.

The reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship against the Big Dog, Roman Reigns on April 8 at WrestleMania 34.
