WWE conducted COVID-19 tests apparently for the first time recently, and several names are cropping up in the positive list. Renee Young, WWE Producer Adam Pearce, and Backstage Interviewer Kayla Braxton are few of the names who have confirmed positive diagnosis
According to PWInsider, the company is continuing the tapings for their weekly programming, which hasn’t gone down well with several superstars. Many are expected to follow Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn by voluntarily staying away from the tapings.
WWE producer Jamie Noble confirmed on his private Instagram account that he has tested positive for the virus and asked for fans to pray for him and his family.
“Not how we expect this month to go! Covid-19 has hit home. Prayers for me and my family will be greatly appreciated!”
The 43-year-old former Cruiserweight Champion recently appeared during the Jeff Hardy-Elias segment which saw Elias get hit by a car. Noble has made several on-screen appearances during such moments, ever since his departure from on-screen role as a member of J&J security.
Another individual, Tyreke, who was used as an extra in a recent set of tapings, has tested positive. “The Ultimate Pusher” works as a manager of Major League Wrestling.
Tyreke hoped to get in touch with Renee Young for her advice in handling this situation and revealed that his wife is currently pregnant.
WWE hasn’t confirmed any cases from their side, but it is expected that a bunch of in-ring performers has caught the deadly virus.
