Velveteen Dream hasn’t been seen on WWE TV for a number of months and it appears that even though the WWE Universe have been asking about the former Champion, there is no real update on Dream aside from the fact that he is still contracted to the company and still part of the NXT brand.
NXT: Takeover takes place this weekend and ahead of the show Triple H was part of a conference call to promote their first Takeover event of 2021.
The Game was asked if there was an update on the status of the former North American Champion since he hasn’t been seen in recent months, and The Godfather of NXT claimed that there is nothing to report at present.
“There’s really nothing to add with Velveteen Dream. We’ve gone over it a million times. A status update: he’s still training. He had a little bit of a physical thing for a bit. He’s still with us, still training, still on the roster.”
This is good news for Dream since Steve Cutler and Lars Sullivan were surprisingly recently released, so the fact that Dream is still officially part of the roster is a positive update for the star’s immediate future.
