Baron Corbin has been the acting General Manager of Monday Night Raw for the past few months after taking the post when Kurt Angle was sent on vacation back in the summer. The former Money in the Bank winner has become one of the most hated men in wrestling as The Authority figure on Raw, but it appears that The Chairman of WWE is enjoying what Corbin is doing.

Corbin recently opened up on his thoughts on his current character on Heated Confessions with Booker T, where he was able to reveal Vince McMahon’s thoughts on his role as the GM of the company’s flagship show.

“Yeah, I’m definitely nervous the first few times. It’s crazy but I think that they’re letting me have fun with it and do it my way and do it as me and Vince loves it and for the last four weeks I’ve been the first fifteen minutes of Monday Night RAW which is you know, crazy. That’s a John Cena spot, that’s a Roman Reigns spot and I’m doing it.”

“It’s a great opportunity and I love the challenge. I love being able to do that every single week and fill it and right now people hate me for it and I love it. Like they despise that I’m on their TV six or seven times a night and that’s the best thing for me because then their following everything I’m doing. If they hate me that much they’re following everything I do and it’s just awesome. It’s very exciting but in a nervous way,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Corbin could lose his spot as the General Manager if he loses his match against Braun Strowman at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs next weekend and it will be interesting to see who takes his spot if that is the case.
