Luke Harper Set For WWE TV Return On SmackDown Live?
Luke Harper has been sidelined over the past few months after he suffered a wrist injury, but the former Intercontinental Champion was reported to have returned to the Performance Center last week and could now be set to make his return to WWE TV on Tuesday night.
According to a report by PWInsider, Harper is scheduled to be part of the SmackDown Live tapings on Tuesday night in Toledo, Ohio but it’s unknown as to whether or not he will be an active part of the show and as ever, plans could change before tomorrow night.
Harper was last seen on SmackDown Live back in August when he was one half of the Tag Team Champions (The Bludgeon Brothers), but Erick Rowan has since returned to the ring and is now aligned with Daniel Bryan, so it will be interesting to see how Harper fits into the current roster.
Batista In Talks With WWE For A Match At WrestleMania
Batista hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since October when he seemingly set up a WrestleMania match against Triple H on SmackDown’s 1000th episode, but Triple H was later injured at Crown Jewel.
Despite this, it is being reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet that The Animal is currently in talks with WWE for a match at WrestleMania 35, but nothing is set in stone, since All Elite Wrestling is also trying to talk Batista into working for them.
It’s reported that Batista isn’t turning AEW away either since he is happy to hear what both companies have to offer before he can make a decision on which deal to take.
The rumored match for WrestleMania still sees Triple H take on Batista in April, since The Game is reportedly recovering well from his pectoral surgery that he had back in 2018.
