Dave Bautista aka Batista will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2020 next April. The Animal retired from the ring at WrestleMania 35 and is now ready to take his rightful place in WWE’s prestigious hall that consists of the legends of yesteryears.
Since yesterday, the WWE Universe has been speculating which icon should have the honor to induct Batista into the Hall Of Fame. While Evolution stablemates namely, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair are apparently the only ones worthy enough to induct The Animal due to the epic history all four men share, Xavier Woods has opined that D-Von (of The Dudley Boyz) should have the privilege of doing the honors.
Batista chimed in and acknowledged the contribution of each of these legends in his career. However, none could make the cut as the Marvel star has already picked the perfect man for the role – Fit Finlay.
“I owe a lot to all those names mentioned and many more but for personal reasons I’ve personally requested that @ringfox1 induct me into the #WWEHOF … I’m sure that anyone who knows Fit Finlay will not question my request.”
Only time will reveal whether WWE gives Batista what he wants for one last time at Hall Of Fame 2020. Given The Animal has already made the announcement public, it would be hard for the company to deny his request.
Meanwhile, Dana Brooke is busy preparing herself for her boyfriend’s special day next year.
The Animal wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 35 where he lost to frenemy Triple H. The Nature Boy provided The Game with a little assistance and that was enough to seal Batista’s fate in the final WWE match of his career.
WWE Hall Of Fame takes place on April 2, 2020, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
