WWE’s first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution will feature over 50 female Superstars from the current roster and big names from WWE’s glorious past. Hall of Famers Trish Stratus, Beth Phoenix and Lita have already been confirmed for the inaugural all-women show.

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi was recently interviewed by Cathy Kelley at the Teen Choice Awards. During the interview, Naomi named her dream opponent for WWE Evolution: Melina.

“Her splits are off the chain. I just think she’s always been unique, athletic and stood out. She’s awesome,” Naomi said about Melina who is a 2-time WWE Divas Champion and a 3-time Women’s Champion.

Melina quit WWE in 2011 after a 7-year long haul with the company. The American model hasn’t been in the ring for the past two years, and recently told Wrestling Inc. that she is officially retired from professional wrestling.

It’s worth waiting to see if WWE approaches Melina to lace up her boots for one last time for a possible Battle Of The Splits match at Evolution.

Trish Stratus returned to Monday Night RAW last week to hype her match against Alexa Bliss for the pay-per-view. Whether Melina follows suit is a mystery right now.

WWE Evolution will take place on October 28, 2018 from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York. The event will air live on the WWE Network and will witness the title defenses of the RAW Women’s Championship, SmackDown Women’s Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, WWE UK Women’s Championship including the finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament.
