Bayley Wants a Match With Trish Stratus

As we reported earlier, Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is set to appear on WWE SmackDown this week.

Stratus is going to be working with Jerry “The King” Lawler in a segment that many believe is going to lead to her having a match at this year’s SummerSlam.

While rumors have Stratus facing Charlotte Flair, current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley would love to have a match against Stratus as well.

Bayley retweeted the WWE announcement for Stratus being on SmackDown and offered to put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against Stratus.

It’s unlikely that Bayley’s Tweet will change the SummerSlam plans, she’s currently set to defend against Ember Moon, but it’s a mark of Stratus’ status that she’s a dream match for many of the current crop of WWE Women Superstars.

Kofi Kingston Talks Future Contenders For the WWE Title

Current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is set to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam. The match is built not just on competition, but on old grievances as Orton was supposedly one of those who held Kingston down in the past.

While the feud with Orton is all about settling old scores, it’s not keeping Kingston from thinking about the future. Speaking with GameSpot.com, Kingston talked about who he would want to defend his title against in the future.

According to Kingston, he would love to face the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

“Shinsuke just won the Intercontinental Championship, there’s a guy I would love to go against,” said Kingston.

Kingston also noted that he would like to face NXT talent in the future but he didn’t really name anyone in particular.

Former WWE Superstar John Morisson Going For Stem Cell Treatment

Before Kofi Kingston became a highly anticipated spot in the WWE Royal Rumble, there was John Morrison. Morrison was famous for his agility which he often used creatively to avoid elimination.

Morrison’s high flying and athletic style has taken its toll however, as he recently shared that he’s getting advanced stem cell treatment for injuries that he has racked up over his 18 year career.

Morrison was last signed with Impact Wrestling but is currently a free agent and rumored to join AEW.
