Becky Lynch has been on a roll ever since capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship from former best friend Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell. With a revamped heel persona, the Irish Lasskicker now has the main event of WrestleMania 35 in her sights.

Lynch is set to clash against RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series on November 18, 2018, in a highly combustible “Champion vs. Champion” match. Their rivalry has gotten insanely bitter and highly personal with the SmackDown Women’s Champion calling her soon-to-be opponent a “slot machine”.

Calling herself “The Man”, Lynch now plans to main event WrestleMania 35 that takes place on April 7, 2019, from the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States.

While speaking to The Gorilla Position, Lynch confidently expressed her thoughts on whether she would be in the actual main event of next year’s Show of Immortals.

“Absolutely I do, I don’t think there’s a hotter Superstar in the company right now. So why I be? Why wouldn’t I be? Shouldn’t it be the top dog in the main event? Shouldn’t it be the most popular Superstar in the main event? Who’s the most popular Superstar — The Man, Becky Lynch!”

Despite being a heel, Lynch receives widespread cheers and huge pops which is quite opposite to the general norm. This unusual scenario even made the WWE Universe question the babyface/heel status of Charlotte Flair post-SummerSlam.

Although Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair have been heavily rumored to headline WrestleMania 35, it remains to been seen whether WWE decides to push Lynch to a much bigger position and add her to the main event equation.

The Irish Lasskicker has proved to be a big draw in the Women’s Division and looks to continue her title reign with brute force. Despite the odds being stacked against her, the SmackDown Women’s Champion firmly vows to crush the RAW Women’s Champion come Survivor Series.
