Becky Lynch Hints At Potential Dream Match With Ronda Rousey: “I Would Beat Her With An Armbar”

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey’s patented (in)famous armbar led to the huge amount of success she had in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) world and her jiu-jitsu is being  well utilized in her professional wrestling career in as well.

With her deadly armbar, Rousey has already victimised  the likes of Stephanie McMahon, Mickie James and Nia Jax in WWE. However, there is another female Superstar who uses an armbar to score her victories in WWE. She is none other than SmackDown Live’s “Irish Lass Kicker” Becky Lynch. Lynch is currently scheduled to face SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella at Summerslam for the title.

Noelle Foley recently interviewed Lynch for Ringside Collectibles where the first-ever and former SmackDown Women’s Champion discussed the possibility of a dream match with “The Rowdy One.” Lynch claimed that she would beat the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion inside the squared circle by using her own move against her:

“I would beat her with an armbar,” Lynch said confidently. “It would be armbar vs armbar. Ronda is here and man, can we just take a second to appreciate how wonderful she’s doing? Man, she is an unbelievable athlete.”

“She’s an Olympian. Woman’s MMA wouldn’t be where it is today without her and all her success and all she’s done. She has taken like a duck to water in our ring and she’s such a Superstar across the world so that’s why I look at her as a slot machine, right? The harder I harder I kick her, the more money that will fall out so it’s gonna be better for me.”
