SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is officially out of Survivor Series. Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live opened to an announcement that Lynch will not be able to compete at Survivor Series due to “a broken face and severe concussion” sustained during the invasion on Monday Night RAW.

Later in the show, a segment took place featuring Lynch and the other female Superstars of the SmackDown Women’s Division. The Irish Lasskicker then carefully chose her replacement for Survivor Series: best friend-worst enemy Charlotte Flair.

WWE aired the RAW footage featuring a bloody Lynch and even highlighted Nia Jax’s punch in slow motion that caused the serious damage.

Lynch is undoubtedly the hottest star in WWE right now and despite being a hardcore heel, fans perceive her as an anti-face/anti-hero and continue to cheer for her no matter how much of a babyface her opponent is.

Jax’s punch may have opened the doors for a highly combustible feud with ‘The Man’ in the near future. However, Lynch was hands-down getting the biggest push of her career and was billed the favorite to defeat Rousey at Survivor Series either by an interference from Nia Jax or Tamina or by a little aid from Charlotte.

Vince McMahon doesn’t want Rousey to lose clean to any Superstar right now and a controversial finish would be the best way to protect her mystique and massively push Lynch at the same time.

Dave Meltzer even speculated that Lynch would have beaten Rousey at Survivor Series.

WrestleVotes also speculated that the epic Rousey vs. Lynch match would be taking place at January’s Royal Rumble if Becky cannot compete on Sunday.

In spite of being pulled from Survivor Series, it is being believed that Lynch’s push won’t suffer due to her injury for she is the hottest Superstar in all of men’s and women’s division in WWE right now and that the Irish Lasskicker would be far hotter and far more cheered for on her return.

It appears that WWE doesn’t have a second choice other than burning Rousey vs. Flair at Survivor Series – an epic dream match initially rumored to main event WrestleMania 35.

Since the Survivor Series bout is titled “Champion vs. Champion” match and is not for any championship belt, WWE doesn’t really need to get the title off Lynch until it hurts the business/storyline. Also, Flair’s now-vacant spot in the SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series Team leaves enough room to include Mandy Rose.
