SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against former best friend Charlotte Flair this Sunday, October 26, at Evolution, the first all women’s pay-per-view in the history of WWE.

The title defense is set to create history as both women clash against each other in a Last Woman Standing match, the first of its kind.

Lynch has been impressive both in the ring and on the mic since capturing the title gold at Hell In A Cell.

In an interview with TV Insider, The Irish Lass Kicker gave credit to the piece of sound advice she received from WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels while the duo was on the sets of “The Marine 6: Close Quarters”.

“Things weren’t going as well as they are now before I left to shoot. I remember him giving me advice saying, ‘When you go back, go in as a different person. Hold your head a little bit higher. Have that attitude that you’re a top star. Go with it.’ I think this is what I’ve been trying to do since I came back.”

As it turns out, Mr. WrestleMania isn’t the only WWE legend guiding Becky in her career. Hall of Famers Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley have also played a vital role in shaping Lynch into the Superstar that she is today.

The Texas Rattlesnake is known for providing the Irish Superstar with some matches to watch and study while Foley has supported her throughout her wrestling career.

“Steve has been very supportive and generous with his time. He talks to me and gives me matches to watch. That has been wonderful.”

“Then I was with Mick Foley recently and talking to him. He is one of the reasons I’m here today. He was someone who helped bring me back into wrestling. I’ve been very lucky for the support I’ve gotten from people who have been here before and done wonderful things in the business.”
