RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been the most successful WWE Superstar since SummerSlam 2018. Her shock heel turn worked wonders, directly placing her at the top of the current roster and by capitalizing on every opportunity coming her way, The Man is just getting started.
Last year, WWE held it’s inaugural all-female pay-per-view Evolution that was headlined by then-RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella. The highly successful PPV didn’t have a second edition this year despite rumors of a potential Evolution 2.0 doing the rounds for several months.
During a recent interview with IGN, Lynch claimed that the Women’s Division has enough talent to showcase an Evolution sequel.
“Possibly. I mean, we have such a deep well of female talent. And a lot of them aren’t being featured very often and I would like to see them step out more. I’ve often said that I want everyone to challenge me. I want everyone stepping up to me. I want everyone looking for that top spot. Because that’s what drives me to do better.”
The Man defeated Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win both RAW & SmackDown Women’s Titles in the first-ever women’s Winner Take All main event of WrestleMania 35.
Having had the privilege to be part of the WrestleMania main event, Lynch wants to experience the feeling once again. And that’s why she is actively looking for a worthy opponent to challenge her at the Showcase Of Immortals next year.
“If everyone’s resting on their laurels, and feeling complacent, then we can’t get better. I can’t main event WrestleMania by myself. And I got a taste of it and I don’t want to give up that spot. I want to main event WrestleMania again and again and again.”
Lynch has been featured as the cover star for WWE 2K20 alongside Roman Reigns with an overall rating of 90, 7 up from last year’s figure.
