As we reported earlier, current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is getting some attention from Hollywood.
Other wrestlers turned actors, The Rock and John Cena, are supportive of Lynch’s acting career. Now, it seems like their faith in her is justified as she’s rumored to have landed a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Kris Tapley of Netflix’s The Call Sheet Tweeted recently that Lynch has been “grabbing Hollywood’s eye.”
No word yet as to what Marvel movie Lynch has been cast in, much less what the size of her role will be.
Lynch is a guest star on season five premiere of the Showtime show Billions. She is also supposed to be featured on the cover of a major national women’s magazine.
Details as to what magazine will be featuring Lynch are scarce, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the feature is already being prepared.
Lynch hasn’t revealed what magazine she will be featured in either, but she has confirmed the reports by joking about it on Twitter.
A recent Tweet from Lynch features herself as the cover of a fake magazine titled “Part Timer Magazine.”
“This is a big one,” wrote Lynch in the caption. “Always dreamed of being on this cover since I was a kid.”
Lynch successfully defended her title against Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 but has not seen in-ring action since then. She has appeared on Raw to give promo’s but has not competed. She isn’t even set to compete during the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, though her presence will probably be felt.
