Becky Lynch is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion and has been one of the best things about the Tuesday night brand over the past few months. Lynch called herself “The Man” after she managed to defeat Charlotte Flair back at Evolution in the first main roster Last Woman Standing match but that’s a nickname that already belongs to another WWE star.

Lynch has been having some good-natured fun with the title over the past few days, but it appears that Seth Rollins could have picked fault with it.

Ric Flair once said “To be the man you have to beat the man” which is something that Rollins stated to Lynch over Social Media, which led to the Women’s Champion¬†stating that she could show Rollins how to “burn it down” which could be seen as a tease for a huge intergender match.

The Irish Lasskicker has been part of intergender matches before and was able to come out on top when she battled James Ellsworth last year, in a match that many fans believed would be the start of many more matches of this kind.

The introduction of Ronda Rousey to WWE has definitely boosted the chances of WWE allowing the women to battle the men in the future and Triple H has even opened up about allowing women to fight the men in NXT.

For now, this seems as though it’s some harmless back and forth between Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, but WWE could decide to make something of this when both brands collide at Survivor Series in just two weeks time. Lynch has been on fire lately and who better to burn it down with than Seth Rollins?
