Big Match Announced For WWE Backlash

This week’s SmackDown Live featured Big Cass attack Bryan and laying waste to him backstage. The 7-footer then replaced Bryan as the guest on MizTV. It was earlier speculated that April 24’s show would reignite the feud between The Miz and Bryan, a rivalry which the WWE Universe has been waiting long to see. However, the current status indicates that WWE is eyeing a slower build to that rivalry by making Bryan feud with Cass as of the moment.  After the show, The Miz took to Twitter and taunted Bryan with the following message:

WWE has now made Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass official for its first Pay-Per View event (excluding Greatest Royal Rumble)since WrestleMania 34, Backlash, which will feature Superstars from both RAW and SmackDown Live.

WWE Backlash will air live on May 6, 2018 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
