A few days ago, 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T had said that reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley isn’t great at anything but she’s good at everything. The comment didn’t sit well with Sasha Banks who took a jab at 10-time World Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat.
On the latest episode of Hall Of Fame podcast, the 5-time WCW Champion fired back at The Boss and put her back in her place.
“Sasha, Bayley, great tag team, but as far as those two being anywhere near as great as Hall of Fame tag team, ten-time World Tag Team Champions — set the record. Along with the greatest manager in the history of the game: Sherri Martel.”
Booker T congratulated Bayley and Banks on their success as the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions, but he also pointed out that the self-proclaimed Role Models are nowhere near to Harlem Heat, and most likely, they never will be.
Having set the record straight, the 6-time World Champion advised Bayley to never call him out again.
“As far as Sasha Banks and Bayley goes — as far as tag team wrestling goes — and what Harlem Heat brought to the game, and still sprinkling out there all over the world right now. People are still singing the name on a yearly basis. … Sasha, Bayley, congratulations on your success, keeping doing what you do, hopefully, you won’t post anymore tweets about me, or anything like that.”
Banks and Bayley’s chemistry as a tag team might be good, but it’s miles behind Harlem Heat. Moreover, The Role Models never broke the barriers and will never push the boundaries that Booker T and Stevie Ray had to in order to achieve their legendary status.
As far as the Women’s Tag Team Championship is concerned, WWE is yet to book the said titles for The Horror Show At Extreme Rules.
