Braun Strowman Denies Reports That Claim WWE Stars Have Contacted AEW

The reigning Universal Champion Braun Strowman is a WWE home-grown talent, which cannot be said for several other members of the current roster. Strowman has deep loyalty for WWE and it came to the fore when he jumped to defend his company on Instagram.

Dave Meltzer recently reported that virtually all the superstars in WWE have contacted AEW for a possible switch. Roman Reigns was reportedly the only superstar who hadn’t approached according to Meltzer.

Strowman replied to a story on Instagram mentioning this report and said that he has never been in touch with the Jacksonville based promotion.

Strowman said that he doesn’t approve of such journalists using his name for clickbait headlines, and such reports are often laughed at by him and his colleagues at WWE.

Strowman has been with WWE for over five years now, debuting as part of the Wyatt Family before moving onto a singles run. He won his first world championship back at WrestleMania 36 after defeating WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.

Several ex-WWE superstars have found a new home in AEW ever since the company came into existence. Cody Rhodes, PAC, Brodie Lee, Chris Jericho, etc., are just a few of the names who jumped the ship.

Strowman will be defending his Universal Championship against his former Wyatt Family leader ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam this week.
