Braun Strowman Still Not Cleared To Wrestle

Braun Strowman will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble on January 27. Both men were involved in a promo this week on Monday Night RAW to hype their highly combustible title match at Chase Field.

Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Strowman is still not cleared to wrestle although the belief is that he will be ready by Royal Rumble. This goes on to explain why The Beast and The Monster didn’t touch each other during the segment despite having a ‘face-to-face confrontation’.

Several Superstars Interested In AEW

All Elite Wrestling has been making shockwaves with every rumor and announcement for the last four months. The hot promotion is now working to grow its roster and it appears that several WWE Superstars are looking at them with great interest, per Dave Meltzer.

“There’s a lot of people in WWE who want to explore their options if not go. If they’re under their contract they have to wait for their contracts to be up. There are others who are wait and see.”

Seth Rollins Reportedly Changing Wrestling Style To Avoid “Boring” Chants

Seth Rollins is currently the favorite to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match in Phoenix. The Kingslayer is also the most favorite to become the new Universal Champion when he faces Brock Lesnar for the title at WrestleMania 35.

Rollins competed twice this week on RAW, thus making himself prone to the “boring” chants that he once heard during his match against Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the matter noting that Seth wants to keep things fresh.

“He doesn’t want to get boring chants, he works really hard so he wants to be great so. He was great tonight, he was the star of the show.

Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho was very recently in talks with WWE. Per Dave Meltzer, Y2J was in talks of once again stepping foot in the WWE Universe.

“He had talks with WWE as recently as right before I left for Japan so this is a recent thing.”
