Braun Strowman Set To Star In Upcoming Comedy Movie

Wrestling Superstars making the move into the acting business is certainly not something new. Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, The Rock, John Cena, Batista and even Edge are just a handful of wrestlers who have been able to carve out a career on the big screen as well as being professional wrestlers.

The Monster Among Men has proven many times that he has a lot of personality both inside and outside of the ring, which is why it’s not much of a surprise that he has been handed a role in upcoming comedy film Holmes and Watson.

The film also stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly and according to IMDB, it is a humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic mysteries featuring Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, a story that has been at the heart of British culture for more than a century.

The winner of the first ever Greatest Royal Rumble is on course to become the biggest monster in WWE since Kane and it appears that he has already been able to ensure that he has a backup career if he ever decides to call time on his wrestling career.

Strowman is an athlete in WWE like no other and now the WWE Universe will be able to see him in action on the big screen this Christmas.

Strowman recently turned heel and is now set to team with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler as they face off against The Shield at Super Show-Down on October 6th. The movie is set for release on Boxing Day this year, which means that WWE has enough time to push the promotion of the film over the next few months.
